Manchester Retain National Alliance Trophy

THE Manchester Alliance set up the National Alliance competition where teams from golf alliances from across the country play for the John Dowd Trophy a decade ago.

The first competition was played at Marriott Worsley Park who were again the hosts for the 2106 competition.

In 2015 the competition was hosted by Breightmet GC and the Manchester Alliance were convincing victors.

They were delighted to retain the trophy as their Manchester 3 team posted a winning score of 162 points to finish two points clear of East Lancs.
