WGTB Golf Mixed Pairs at Marple Golf Club

Eaton duo cruise to victory

MARPLE Golf Club were terrific hosts for the WGTB Mixed Pairs American Foursomes competition providing a well prepared and challenging course and excellent and friendly clubhouse hospitality and help.

Unfortunately they could not control the weather which was cold and windy and with rain for much of the day but it did not dent the enthusiasm and friendly nature of another fine competition.

Leading in with a fine haul of 42 points were Eaton Golf Club’s Ken Sutton and Jan Woollen, which included two important ‘Twos’ on the second and 17th holes.
