Close all the way at Ashton

ASHTON-under-Lyne Golf Club were magnificent hosts for the final WGTB Days Out competition with several major issues resolved on a fine course that had stood up well to the awful weather in the preceding days.

They also provided great catering and bar service with all members of staff and members giving a warm welcome to a full field.

Gary Butler of Etiqus Timepieces was in attendance to present two of his superb watches to the winners of the Qualifiers and they went to the consistent duo of Steve McDermott (Turton) and Terry Dallimore (Ellesmere) from Heaton Moor’s Chris Antonio and Billy McNeil.
