Tight finish at a great venue

NORTH Manchester Golf Club put on the style for WGTB providing a superbly presented and challenging course backed by excellent and friendly hospitality and beautiful weather.

The quality of the course was reflected in the scoring with the top score being 40 points.

It was provided by WGTB regular stars Tony Gregory (Stockport), the recently appointed Manchester Captain of Captains, and Charles Beadle (Bramhall) who edged out their playing partners from Vicars Cross Ged Wilkinson and Ken Sutton on a cpo.
